USB IrDA adapter for PC? - usb infrared adapter
I bought a USB / IrDA (infrared) for the PC. I want to use the remote control for Winamp, Windows Media Player ... I have programs such as Girder, remote PCs and other downloads, but they know not send a signal that I am on my remote. I switched to 10 remote controls, but not download a few plug-ins for these programs ... No results. Ideas?

IrDA had never worked so well. I would be with a wireless Ethernet LAN. You can print servers and other devices. Of course, I mean (802.11) wireless networks. Most new laptops come with him. Very few new laptops are more concerned with IrDA, making it a dead interface.
Yes, I bought a USB-IrDA adapter allows you to post that from my old Nokia phone. It does not work very reliably. It should do for me to transfer my contacts and phone, but also a telephone connection to my computer so I can dial-up. Just plan suck. This led sometimes worked, and I could hear the sound, via IrDA ... Always very successful.
Good luck and Happy Computing!
